An open concept seating arrangement, large swim platform, and port side walk thru transom make this the ideal boat for watersports. Storage on the 246 is abundant including a large dunnage area under the aft sun lounger. The 246 SSi Surf edition is equipped with the patented, hydraulically operated Malibu Surf Gate™ which transforms watersport wakes into the most surfable and customizable waves possible. On a boat equipped with Surf GateTM, there’s no need for passengers to pile up and lean the boat to affect the wave. Spend more time on the water with the ability to transfer from side-to-side without having to change ballast weight. Fun for the whole family - control the direction of the wake easily from the touch screen controls or from the optional wristband. Unlike other stern drive companies that only use a forward facing drive, the Malibu Surf Gate™ allows Chaparral to produce competition level surf wakes.
